- Led development of the financial wellness startup's founding platform for members and small-group matching.
- Designed and owned the entire v1 platform — frontend, backend, ML, databases, CI/CD.
- Recruited four hires and led a six-person team including myself and a pre-existing data scientist. Owned team management; pay was handled elsewhere.
- Turned stakeholder requirements into Kanban cards and assignments, made stack and architecture decisions, reviewed code, and managed merges.
- Adapted the data scientist's R/Python matching code for cloud deployment and took it into production.
- Owned production operations — CI/CD, deployments, observability — and built the InfluxDB + Grafana telemetry and reporting stack the team watched platform and business metrics on.
- Implemented Auth0 application identity, including SSO, MFA, and the user lifecycle.
- Led migration to lower-cost commercial software when the business pivoted to individual coaching, retiring custom development that no longer fit.
